Our Community Service
At The Law Offices of William S. Dunlevy, it is not enough for us to simply offer qualified legal services. We have a strong belief in giving back to our community. Our attorney’s involvement in several community organizations not only helps the community remain vibrant — but also keeps us in touch with the concerns of our friends and neighbors so we can better address their needs.
A Partner For Homeowners Associations
Our founder, William S. Dunlevy, has been an instrumental partner for many homeowners associations (HOAs) within Ventura, Ventura County and the Tri-County area. He regularly volunteers his time to aiding HOA board members and the community in general, including:
- Membership in the local Community Associations Institute (CAI), an international organization dedicated to building better communities, for over 35 years
- Over 30 years as editor and photographer for the CAI newsletter and magazine
- Service as a board member and two terms as the president of the Channel Islands Chapter of CAI
An Active Community Member
In addition to his service to homeowners associations and businesses, our lawyer has served the community in general in a variety of capacities. He has been a member of the Lions Club International for over 30 years. In this role, he has participated in many service outreach projects in the Tri-County area. He has also volunteered with the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO).
Here Is Why We Give Back
Beyond the obvious reason that it’s the right thing to do, we recognize that being involved in the community expands our ability to meet clients’ needs. Having worked with a variety of people from different backgrounds, we can better relate to their concerns and find the most appropriate solutions to their problems. In short, community service expands our perspective and helps us serve our clients better.
